Adventures @ Universal

Today we took the kids to Universal Studios (we got two-park passes for the fam) and are making good use of our passes. It started off really overcast and we thought this will be great if everyone thinks it's going to rain and doesn't decide to go. But wait...what if it does rain and we are stuck there with two little kids...NOT FUN! We drove down and it was sprinkling and we told Grace we were going to a surprise. Randy started joking and whispering, "I hope she thinks the mall playground is a great surprise." (Was he joking?) Anyway, we stopped at Publix and got subs and stuff for the park and when we FINALLY got there (we have been building this up to Grace for like 4 hours)...it was a beautiful day. We had so much fun riding the rides and watching the expression on the kids faces, and not a drop of rain. They were in heaven, and we were too. As we were leaving and walking through City Walk, we realized it was the Marilyn Manson concert at the Hard Rock, so it was really fun people watching to say the least. When we got in the car and headed home (6:45ish), we read the sign that said Universal Studios, I looked in the back seat and both kids were passed out alseep and it started to rain.
