Day 6- The Hat Debate

This morning we headed to the hot tub...

Who wore this hat best? Everyone had to try it on and wear it at some point, but these three boys were fighting over it. They each think that they were the ones to be wearing our famous ski hat because they looked the best in it. I'm pretty sure Gav takes the cake!!



Later on we headed downtown for dinner and some festivities. Grace and Paige stayed back to keep an eye on Uncle Michael, but they really wanted to get in their pj's and watch a movie. Every night Mama and Poppy cook these huge, delish meals, so tonight we thought we would head out. We went to a really great Mexican restaurant...the food was awesome. Next we walked around and stopped in this adorable little candy shop. What is it about small towns and candy shops? When you see them, you are like drawn to go and check them out. Anyway, we got some yummy classics like boston baked beans, cinnamon bears, candy apples, ect. Everyone loves having candy in their pockets down the mountain, but what was my excuse? They had a ski jump competition going on as well and some of the competitors were little kids. I was in shocked that they weren't scared to death to attempt and start learning the sport. That should be child abuse. They were pretty good, though and it was definitely entertaining!!

They had ice sculptures that lines the street corners and Gav made sure to check all of them out. They really were amazing!!No Gav, this is not a sculpture, but he is still cool looking. He kept coming back to this man and wanting to get on his lap.
