We woke up this morning around 5am got the kids all dressed and loaded up for the airport. We drove over to the Berges's and Marty Share helped us get to the airport and bring our car home (Thanks so much!!) We were off to Steamboat Springs, CO for our family ski trip. The kids were so excited to ride on an airplane and we were so scared. Over 5 hours of flying with the kids...how was this gonna turn out? Does this tell you anything?
They were great. Off course we had some moments where they were so ready to get off the plane, but all the prep work/snacks/movies/toys/etc....all paid off. We even got a little of this...
We finally got to Colorado and the weather was so beautiful. We stepped off the plane to 30 degrees, and it wasn't freezing or anything just pure comfort. The kids immediately were running to the snow and so excited to touch it. Off course without gloves they turn around and Gav says "cold" and Grace asks "can I eat it?"
We head to the resort, unpack and let the kids explore the place. They love hotel rooms!! Then we head over to Christy Sports to pick up our skis for Papa, Paige, Daddy and Grace, and the local grocery store for some essentials/goodies for the week.
Gavin loves hats and when he say these huge helmets he couldn't resist.
