Today we had a picnic at the park with Dad because he is going skiing this Thursday and will miss our usual Friday picnic. Grace loves playing at the park and today she met a special new friend, Gabe. Grace walked right up to him by the school bus and started playing with him.Grace: "Whats your name?"
Gabe: "Gabe"
Grace: "My name is Grace," then running over to us "and this is Gavin, and this is my Daddy, and this is my Mommy."
Gabe: "Oh"
Grace: sticking out her hand and grabbing onto Gabes "Nice to meet you."
It was the sweetest thing I had ever seen. They went on to play with this stick, then hide-n-seek, and then Gabe had to leave. I sure hope we see him again at the park. He was the sweetest little boy and Grace just had a ball with him.
