Friday Fun

Today we went to the park with Daddy for our 'Friday Picnic' and had lots of fun. Grace runs around and makes friends so easy. One day after Halloween there was a little boy dressed in his tigger costume running around the park (btw, Grace still puts on Lumpy), Grace was chasing him saying, "Tigger come here!" He was older and faster than she was and when she would get close he would take off again. Grace was lovin it! Whenever we're on our way to the park she asks,"will friends be there?" Then she'll ask in her sweet little voice, "Will Tigger be there?"

After the park, we went to Brigham and Aubrey's house and did our weekly craft. This week we made Mayflower ships. The kids helped glue the masts and painted the sails. At one point the kids were inside watching 'Charlie and Lola' while Rachel and I were ourside spray painting the ships. We both started laughing because we are the ones that do most of the craft each week (all the prep) and we were like, "should we call this Ashlea and Rachel's craft time." The kids do love the time they get to spend on the craft, and grace really loves her finished product. When we got home Grace and I talked about the pilgrims and played with her ship and she really was understanding a little bit about what Thanksgiving is REALLY about. Mission Accomplished!

Gavin's Mayflower is on the Left and Gracie is holding hers.

Too cute! You and Rachel are certainly more crafty than me. I don't think that I have a creative bone in my body!
